Bakersfield Adult School offers an impactful Adults in Corrections program within the Lerdo prison facility. This program provides comprehensive educational opportunities, including GED preparation classes, career technical education, parenting skills, health education, food service training, substance abuse prevention, domestic violence classes, and anger management sessions. Through these diverse offerings, the program aims to empower incarcerated individuals with valuable knowledge and skills, fostering personal growth and preparing them for successful reintegration into society.
